"From my childhood through high school, I took cello lessons from Ms.                                                
 Bonnie. During this time, Ms. Bonnie taught me excellent listening skills
 and strong form in how I approach my cello. Due to her instruction, I was
 ahead of most of the other cello students at my college in terms of
 repertoire and knowledge of the world of music. Because of her instruction,
 I have a love for classical music that supersedes my enjoyment of any other
 form of music.

 I credit Ms. Bonnie as the teacher who taught me what I needed to know to
 enjoy and pursue the world of classical music. Her love of the cello and
instruction has inspired me to continue to seek opportunities to play, even
as I am now entering my last year of college and seeking graduate work in a

I was a student of Ms. Bonnie’s for 14 years. Looking back, I am extremely
 grateful for all of the time and energy Ms. Bonnie invested in me. As an
 aspiring musician, I realize that Ms. Bonnie gave me a very solid musical
 background that has greatly benefited me in my pursuit of a cello
performance degree.
